DESCRIPTION: IRIX HP PLX 4600 is a very special liquid grease based on synthetic oils. It contains specialized additives and provides excellent lubricity under extreme pressures, anticorrosion and adhesiveness performance over very long duration.
IRIX HP PLX 4600 has good levels of resistance to corrosion and good mechanical stability which are extremely essential in filled for life gear-box applications. Its chemical inertness gives it very good compatibility with most seals and plastics, including polycarbonates.

FIELDS OF USE:
- IRIX HP PLX 4600 is designed for the lubrication of slides & gears of CNC machines and open gears under the harshest operating conditions, particularly in automotive & related manufacturing industry
- IRIX HP PLX 4600 has a recommended operating temperature range of -50 ºC to 150 ºC and with appropriate re-lubrication intervals up to 200 ºC
- Its primary uses are in grease filled industrial gear cases subject to high temperatures, where conventional semi fluid greases will not provide acceptable lubricant life and in non-driven heavy-duty truck trailer wheel hubs
